Dr. Eyad Ali
Eyad M. Ali, MD, FACP, FACG, FASGE received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY in 1995. Subsequently, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the North Shore-LIJ Health system in Manhasset and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. Dr. Ali then completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the prestigious NYU Medical Center in Manhattan. While there he underwent extensive training and research in all aspects of digestive diseases including transplant Hepatology.
Dr. Ali has authored several abstracts during his training and also co-authored “Medical School Companion” a book widely published by Random House guiding and advising medical students through their training. Dr. Ali is presently a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Ali has been an attending physician since 2001 and currently holds privileges at Peconic Bay Northwell Health Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. Dr Ali is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook School of Medicine and at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine where he is actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and gastroenterology fellows. His academic affiliation keeps him up to date and on the cutting edge of new treatments and procedures in his field.
Dr. Ali’s medical practice, Twin Forks Gastroenterology, has been serving the east end of Long Island for the past 15 years. Because of his experience, Dr. Ali performs state-of-the-art procedures and has the first in-office endoscopy suite on the East End to be designated a Center of Excellence by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a nationally recognized professional organization.
Dr. Ali performs and treats all aspects of gastroenterology including colonoscopies, endoscopes and hemorrhoid treatment. He also specializes in advanced testing including breath tests for bacterial overgrowth, h. Pylori and lactose intolerance, capsule endoscopy, Smartpill and manometry for motility disorders. Dr. Ali also manages Barrett’s esophagus and acid reflux, including the Bravo capsule.
Dr. Ali lives locally in Quogue and has been part of the east end community for over a decade. He is married with two children and enjoys living here and serving the people of the twin forks, his home area.
Lynn Villano, NP
Lynn Villano, NP, received her BA in economics from St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. She went on to acquire her BAN/RN degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. Shortly thereafter, Lynn worked as an ICU nurse at North Shore LIJ Health System in Manhasset. After further training, Lynn became a nurse practitioner through Adelphi University’s prestigious program. Several years thereafter, Lynn continued to work at North Shore’s pulmonary medicine department and did extensive research on nicotine addiction while working in the smoking cessation program helping thousands overcome their addiction.
Lynn is a board certified nurse practitioner in adult health and specializes in gastroenterology and hepatology. She has been with Twin Forks Gastroenterology and Hepatology for the past 8 years. Her focus includes health and wellness and is the practice’s Director of Weight Management. She aides patients in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and assists in achieving weight loss through a nationally recognized medical program.
Lynn was raised in Cutchogue, NY and her roots run deep on the east end. She and her husband raise two children on the south fork.
